Description

This darling little spaniel became most popular with the British royal family. This little spaniel is sturdy, and square in body shape. With a well rounded skull, long low set ears, large eyes. They have a cherubic face with points of refinement. Their muzzles are short with a upturned nose. They stand at roughly 10 in. tall and weigh in at 9 to 14 pounds. This dog has lots of flowing fur…or fringing on both front and rear legs, ears, body and feet, and is either slightly wavy or straight. The fur is very silky, and has a lovely sheen to it. Temperament
This is a truly sweet little dog that needs to be gently treated with a firm hand. They are good with children, and other dogs. A quiet little dog that is intelligent, interested, loving, and well behaved. They are fantastic companion dogs, and need to be with a pack leader that is patient, and won’t allow bad behavior. The English Toy Spaniel can be a bit finicky when it comes to mealtime, so special attention needs to be paid to his diet.
